I finally made it to San Pedro, Belize. The flight was EARLY but we arrived in Belize City at about 10:30 am (12:30 pm there). There we met up with some of the other interns and after going through immigration got on the TropicAir plane to San Pedro. It was a small plane and it was really neat to see the other islands and all the water! Then we came to Pedro's Inn where we will be staying and got settled in our rooms. It is a nice room with two beds, wonderful airrrrr condiittioninnnnggg : ) : ) : ), a sink, and a bathroom. They are much nicer than I had expected so that is great!
Since then, we have been doing a lot of touring of the island and enjoying the beach during our break before we get all our responsibilities! Today we went and saw all the schools we will be working at. I will be at Isla Bonita Elementary. We will go tomorrow afternoon for a little while and then Monday we get started! I am so excited to get started!
